The relaunched range of Commonwealth Bank credit cards with rewards come with a companion Amercian Express card that features more rewards points per dollar spent. The two cards operate on the same account with the same credit limit.
The Gold card offers cardholders two rewards points per dollar spent.The platinum Amercian Express gives three points per dollars and the standard awards card gives 1.5 points per dollar.
