    The balance transfer rate is available when you apply for a new card and request at application to transfer balance(s) from up to 3 cards from Australian issued credit or store cards. Packaged, Westpac Group employees and product transfers cards are ineligible. Balance transfer rate not available in conjunction with any other promotion. The promotional rate will apply to any balance(s) transferred ($200 up to 95% of your approved available credit limit) for 6 months, unless the amount is paid off earlier. The variable purchase rate will apply to balance(s) transferred but left unpaid after 6 months. Balance transfers will be processed after card activation. Westpac will not be responsible for any delays that may occur in processing payment to your other card account(s) and will not close the account(s). You will not receive the benefit of any interest free days on purchases unless the full closing balance (including any balance transfer or promotional amount) is paid by the statement due date.

    * For cards with reward programs that allow you to earn points, unless otherwise noted, the best case scenario of everyday spending is used when calculating the spend required to earn a reward. Everyday spending does not include bonus points that may be earned by shopping with loyalty partners. For rewards programs that have monthly caps, we assume you stay under that cap and for products with two cards, we assume spending is with the highest earning card. For programs that allow you to convert points for air travel at a price that changes from day to day, we have assumed that the flight is $300 (taxes and charges inclusive).
