Bankwest offers 7-Eleven cash convenience

20/10/2005

BankWest will set up ATMs in all 357 7-Eleven convenience stores in a move that will extend its physical reach on the east coast of Australia. The stores are predominantly in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane at which the BankWest machines will be progressively deployed from January 2006. The WA bank owned by HBOS Australia has a strong branch presence in its home state but its customers have had to rely largely on phone and internet transactions in the east in the absence of a significant branch network. It does, however, have some branches and business banking centers in capital cities with plans for more.
