CBA ATMs working after overnight failure

15/12/2011

Commonwealth Bank's ATM, online banking and EFTPOS services are working after a connection failure last night. The services were restored at 11pm after a five-hour blackout.

"We're aware of issues with our NetBank, ATM and EFTPOS services," the bank said last night.

"A number of customers may also be experiencing issues accessing our contact centres and phone banking. The issues are related to network connectivity problems. We are working to resolve the issues and restore services as soon as possible."

Some employers have emailed their staff, telling them pay checks would be delayed due to the bank's system failure.
