NAB, ING & Suncorp have best transaction accounts

NAB's Classic Banking Account won Choice's 2011 Best Low-fee Bank Account award and NAB is winning deposits and loans from the other three big banks, according to the latest data from the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority. The NAB account has no account-keeping fees and on average doesn't incur monthly transaction fees.

ING Direct's Orange Everyday Account pays ATM fees and deposits 50 cents into the customer's account for each cash withdrawal of $200. Suncorp's Everyday Options Account links to multiple high-interest savings "sub accounts" and rated highly in 2011.
