Auctions results dip down

Auction results dipped slightly in Sydney on the weekend. There were 391 residential properties put up for auction with 70 per cent selling on the day.

That was slightly down on last week when 75 per cent of 457 properties sold at auction in Sydney. In Melbourne there were just 255 homes put up for auction on the Moomba/Labour Day long weekend with 75 per cent selling on the day.

On the same weekend last year there were 135 home put up for auction with 70 per cent selling on the day. There were 35 auctions held in Adelaide with 60 per cent producing a sale. In Brisbane there was just 30 auctions held with 53 per cent producing a sale.
