CUA think pink to support breast cancer research

Australians can get behind a great cause by purchasing a pink ribbon or other pink products at any CUA branch on Pink Ribbon Day, October 26, or any other day in October, which is Breast Cancer Month.

All the branches and hub offices of Australia’s largest credit union will sell a variety of ‘pink merchandise’ including pink ribbons, button badges, a bracelet, pens, lip gloss and diamante pins. All donations will help the National Breast Cancer Foundation continue to fund research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer.

CUA CEO Mr Chris Whitehead, said CUA had been involved with the campaign since 2006. “We recognise that the National Breast Cancer Foundation is Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisation established to fund all forms of breast cancer research and we are 100 percent behind their cause.

If people can’t make it into the branch on Pink Ribbon Day, they need not worry as we will be selling pink merchandise right throughout the month of October.”
