ANZ to unveil OneWealth

ANZ bank is preparing to rename the ING Australia wealth management business it purchased last year as “OneWealth” according to an inside source.
The bank is required to give up the ING brand by August as part of the sale deal. ANZ is thought to be reluctant to force a banking brand on to the financial advisors working at ING. ING operate an investment management platform known as OneAnswer and an insurance brand known as OneCare.
All the major banks operate wealth management and investment products under separate brands. NAB owns MLC, Commonwealth owns Colonial and Westpac owns BT.
