1100 caught in China card breach

About 1100 credit cards issued by Australian banks are caught up in a breach of credit card security traced to two hotels in Beijing and the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen. Westpac and Commonwealth Bank are contacting all customers that Visa has identified as vulnerable. National Australia Bank has cancelled 67 cards since it picked up suspicious activity about six weeks ago. ANZ said it preferred to monitor the 200 affected cards.
