300,000 plan to shift their super

About 8 per cent of people say they will take advantage of the new laws that allow them to choose the own superannuation fund provider, a survey by the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia has found. This means that around $65 billion of super savings may change manager. Much of this money may shit into do-it-yourself funds. AFSA estimate that only three quarters of those who say they will shift will do so, which means about 300,000 will take steps to change their super scheme.
