ACCC to review call pricing

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is to review price controls on Telstra including the untimed, 22c cap on local call prices. The Government says the ACCC is to conduct the review to ensure that comsumers are getting the maximum benefit from competition. The requirement that users in the city and the bush be charged the same untimed local fee will also be considered.
