Air Nauru offers seats on Aust domestic route

International carrier Air Nauru has been granted permission to offer competitively priced seats to travellers left stranded by the collapse of Ansett.

These tickets will apply to the routes of Sydney and Brisbane, and Melbourne and Brisbane.

Regional manager John Goulding says while the service will be limited, the airline is hoping to make it a regular one.

“It depends a little on how many international passengers we have booked, but on the day prior to the actual days that we fly our international services, we can release these seats to the market. In any one week, it's up to 400 seats,” he said.
