Another financial adviser charged

A former AMP adviser has been charged with six criminal offences relating to defrauding clients between 1993 and 1998. Harold Frederick Baxter Moses failed to pass on employer superannuation contributions of $334,000 to funds operated by AMP, Mercantile Mutual and Host-Plus. Mr Moss resigned in June 1994 as an AMP agent but continued to receive clients' superannuation payments. AMP and Mercantile Mutual (now ING) have since compensated the customers for losses arising from the alleged fraud.
