ANZ Saver Plus helps poor with $1,000
ANZ has extended its Saver Plus program to assist low income families in conjunction with Jewish Care in eastern Melbourne. Saver Plus provides matching dollar for dollar contributions up to $1,000 to a savings account held by a family with a health card, with at least one child in school. One member of the family must have a job.
The Jewish Care-ANZ program will operate in the St Kilda, Balaclava, Caulfield, Elsternwick and Bentleigh areas. Initially, Saver Plus was a program operated by the bank, in conjunction with the Brotherhood of St Laurence.
