Are you ready to vote with your feet?
Young Australians are more likely to switch banks over the next 12 months according to research by Blackmarket Research. Forty per cent of people aged 20-34 said they are likely to consider changing institutions.
Interest rates, fees and charges, honesty and trust and customer service are the top reasons for people thinking about switching banks. COBA chief executive officer Mark Degotardi said Australians are serious about looking for a better banking deal.
“It now appears people are prepared to vote with their feet.”
