ASIC bans two acolytes of Henry Kaye

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission banned two men who worked with property investment spruiker Henry Kaye from providing financial services for up to two years. The two are Paul Batho, of Geelong in Victoria, and Leonard McDowell, of Sydney. ASIC said Batho and McDowell operated and managed investment schemes without an Australian financial services licence. The two were directors of Laton Capital Finance.
