Astute customers don’t pay bank fees

Australian households paid a total of $3.5 billion in bank fees in 2004, with $1.5 billion coming from everyday transaction accounts. Much of this amount was paid by people with unsuitable bank accounts who could save money by banking smarter said Denis Orrock from Infochoice.
