KPMG reported that 48 per cent of international respondents said they had not used a mobile phone for banking in the last six months, while the figure in Australia was a much higher 64 per cent.

43 per cent of Australian respondents said they did not even know if their bank offered mobile phone banking services. Clearly, there's a way to go to convince ordinary Australians that the phone is the new branch.
