Aussies make saving their top priority in 2013
A survey by super fund Australian Ethical found 70 per cent of Australians will be making their finances their top priority in 2013.
The fund's chief investment officer, David Macri, says the results are a reflection of economic conditions that drew significant attention in 2012.
“Over the last year you had the global economic landscape making a lot of headlines and job security as well, people aren't feeling that secure in their jobs,” he says. “The global financial crisis is still largely in the memories of people and what it did to performance.”
