Australian Insurers’ websites lag behind US sites

A recent study showed that while the internet response times of Australian insurers compared favourably with US insurers, the site functionality we experience is lagging about two years behind what is on offer to consumers in the US.

Yet when it comes to direct contact with customers, Australian insurance companies are doing it better than their US counterparts. In the US consumers have to make an appointment to get a quote while consumers here just phone the call centre to receive a quote.
