Bank websites confusing
The ANZ, CBA, NAB and Westpac websites all have major design flaws, including illegible text, poor layouts and missing information says US research group Forrester. ANZ's value added calculators helped its' website score higher than the other major banks in the review. Westpac earned a 7 out of 12 rating with quick page downloads and no major errors in its site. Presentation of information was a common complaint about all the sites. Forrester said Westpac's site was particularly problematic in this regard. NAB's site layout was criticised as was the use by all the banks of roll-over menus. CBA's website was missing important information about credit card fees, whilst ANZ made surfers look through five different pages to find the home loan applications.
