Baycorp sees more demand for personal loans
A drop in the pace of promotion for low rate credit cards and related inducements to customers to switch cards has once again eroded the rate of growth in demand for consumer credit checks via Baycorp Advantage. Baycorp said demand for credit cards grew by 0.4 per cent to 932,000 applications in the September 2006. Demand for personal loans increased by 6.7 per cent to 683,7000 over the same period. The measure of demand for personal loans includes demand for store credit cards.
