Business needs access to infrastructure says ACCC

The competition regulator says Australian companies need streamlined access to infrastructure such as railways, airports and ports amid concerns that access disputes are dragging out for years. COAG will address the issue at its meeting on February 10 while industry claims that the nation has underinvested in infrastructure by as much as $24.8 billion. The ACCC also says that appeals to its decisions should be limited to matters of law and evidence.
