CBA customers least satisfied

A Roy Morgan survey has found the Commonwealth Bank's customers are the least satisfied of all Australian banking consumers. A poll of 57,000 bank customers found a 27-point difference between the top and bottom-rated banks in a survey for the year to November. Bendigo Bank topped the list with 85.7 per cent of its customers saying they were very or fairly satisfied with its performance. But only 58.4 per cent of CBA's customers gave their bank the same satisfaction rating. It was a small improvement on the previous year's 57.9 per cent. Regional banks are leading the way on service levels with both Bendigo and the Bank of Queensland saying their success is due mainly to their community banks and owner-managed branches.
