Cheap fares propel domestic travel upwards

A recent survey indicates that consumers are buying domestic airfares more often than ever before thanks to the recent availability of discount air fares brought about by increased airline competition. The study conducted by, shows that 69 per cent of consumers were prompted to buy airfares they would not have purchased otherwise due to the cheap prices. More travellers are also booking their tickets online.
