Credit card rates range from 9% to 30%

Australians currently owe about $50 billion (collectively) on almost 16 million credit card accounts. About $35 billion of that debt is accruing interest.

Many credit cardholders who don’t pay down their balance every month are paying unnecessary interest and fees.

Credit card interest rates range from 8.99 per cent to 29.5 per cent, so if you pay interest on your credit card, it may be worthwhile looking for a low rate card.
