Credit card ‘transactors’ look for low annual fees
Credit card interest rates have not come down with recent rate cuts by the Reserve Bank.
However, high card interest rates aren't a problem for “transactors” – those people (about half of all Australian credit card users) who pay their card off in full each month. They avoid paying any interest. For these people a card with a low annual fee should be a priority.
There are plenty of credit cards now in the market with no or very low annual fees. Shop around for a card that suits you and your spending patterns.
