Fewer Aussies in mortgage stress

Mortgage delinquency rates are at their lowest level since 2007 according to mortgage insurer Genworth.

0.33 per cent of mortgages are delinquent. That is a total of 4,953 home loans that are currently unlikely to be repaid (in December 2014).

Low interest rates and higher house prices have contributed to a better outlook for people struggling to repay their home loans.
