Home ownership still Aussie dream

A survey conducted by NAB has found that for those aged between 19 and 24 years, 90 per cent identify buying a home as their biggest goal in life. For the 25 to 34 year old group the priority is to see more of the world, but still 80 per cent say that home ownership is near the top of their list. However home ownership is just one of many goals for young people who usually have 5 major life goals while older groups averaged two goals each. The goals most often listed were overseas travel, volunteering, car ownership and huge adventures such as climbing Mt Everest.
