How do you access your bank account?

Roy Morgan Research revealed that 33 per cent of Australians forgo traditional bank branches, advisers or phone banking and only use their mobile phone or tablet to carry out banking.

29 per cent use a combination of digital and traditional channels. 16 per cent use only traditional channels while 21 per cent of those surveyed did no banking at all within the four week survey period.

Roy Morgan director Norman Morris said Australian customers are already engaged in mobile-centric banking so the next step to mobile payments will be more of an evolution rather than revolution.
