How long will interest rates stay low?

Most major economists forecast that the Reserve Bank of Australia will leave official interest rates unchanged at 2.5 per cent well into 2015.

RBA governor Glenn Stevens said "the most prudent course is likely to be a period of stability in interest rates." 

Most economists agree that the RBA will raise rates sometime in 2015 or the first three months of 2016.
