Little trust in big firms

A survey by marketing firm Grey Worldwide has found that 60 per cent of its respondents regard big companies as having no morals or ethics. The “Eye on Australia” poll found that banks, insurance firms, oil companies, advertising agencies and government departments were the least trusted organisations in the nation. Sixty-six per cent of respondents labelled large corporations “heartless” and “just for shareholders” while 84 per cent believe most businesses are focused purely on profits.
