Men use mobiles to impress women says study
According to a recent British study, men are using their mobile phones like cars using them as status symbols in their pursuit to impress women. A study conducted by the University of Liverpool in Britain found that men were more likely to flaunt their mobile by checking the battery and standing them on the table in public view whilst women kept their mobiles in their bags using them only when they needed to. Research found that 32 per cent of men were seen to have a mobile compared to 13 per cent of women. Australian National University psychologist Jeff Ward believes that some men use their mobile phones as a means of indicating their wealth and power by flaunting the fact that they have the latest phone model.
