NAB may reduce consumer banking fees

National Australia Bank chief executive John Stewart said the bank's Australian business was “looking at all areas of fees. I wouldn't be at all surprised if, over the next six months, we don't decide to make sure that our fees are customer compatible. I really don't want to anticipate it, but I know that there's a drive to keep improving customer satisfaction in the area of fees. It will be from a view to customer satisfaction, not from a view to raising money.”
