NAB pays up for further fee error

National Australia Bank said it wrongly charged some customers who made over-the-counter cash deposits. NAB owes about $700,000, including $85,000 in interest, to about 150,000 customers. The bank charged an “error adjustment fee” in circumstances when customers miscalculated the amount deposited in express envelopes. No fee was payable under the bank’s terms, however.
