NAB takes over as our favourite big bank

National Australia Bank's “break up” campaign has propelled the bank to top spot on Roy Morgan's customer satisfaction ratings for the first time in more than a decade, unseating ANZ, which has dominated the survey since 2004.

In the latest survey, covering October, 77.5 per cent of NAB's customers said they were satisfied. ANZ (77 per cent) was close behind.

The Commonwealth Bank (76.3 per cent) came third and Westpac (76.1 per cent) fourth, although both have lifted customer satisfaction levels over the past year. According to Roy Morgan the pair were held back by the low rating given by their home loan customers.
