NAB tries harder in micro business market

National Australia Bank said it believed it would continue to take market share away from rivals in the business banking segment. NAB said the most recent data from the industry regulator shows the bank had a 23.1 per cent share of business lending in April, and that this was 1.5 percentage points more over the four months in the year-to-date. NAB said it was growing fastest in the small to medium enterprise segment, with loans of $100,000 to $500,000.
