One.Tel mobile customers go to Optus

One Tel mobile customers who connect via the Optus network will have their account switched over to Optus within a week. Optus will notify each affected customer by SMS message, phone call, fax and advertisements about the change over.

Not all One Tel mobile customers are on the Optus network. Customers who signed up with One Tel since the launch of its own Next Generation mobile network are not affected by this change.

If you are connected to the One.Tel Next Generation Network, have a fixed line or the internet with One.Tel, you will not be affected by the Optus change over. It is still unclear as to what will happen to these services.

If a One Tel customer with Optus chooses not to transfer, their service will be disconnected.
