Regionals winning business from big four

The six big regional banks are successfully expanding outside their own geographies and hurting the big four banks in the competitive area of business banking. A survey by KPMG of St George, Bank of Queensland, Adelaide Bank, Bendigo Bank, Suncorp and Elders Rural Bank says the second tier banks grew by over 9 per cent during 2006 while their business banking portfolio grew 18.4 per cent.
