Retiring Kraehe spruiks NAB turnaround

Graham Kraehe, the retiring chair of National Australia Bank, said that NAB were “very close” to finalising all of 81 areas of business reform mandated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority in the second quarter of 2004 in the wake of the bank’s losses on foreign exchange options dealing. It's very much a different bank. When you walk around, you can sense it,” Kraehe said. “When you talk to staff and customers, they're pretty much universally positive about the changes being made.”
