Should you extend your mobile warranty?

When buying a new mobile phone or plan, some phone dealers may offer you an extended warranty on your new mobile which, depending on your circumstance, may or may not be a wise move. Extending the warranty on your phone – the standard is generally 12 months – will involve paying an extra fee, for example $100 to extend your warranty from 12 to 24 months. However, before you make a decision work out what your needs and habits are as well as what exactly your warranty covers. Considering the average mobile user updates their phone every 18 months or so, it may not be worth extending your warranty for another 12 months.
