Which banks have been named as ‘most ethical?’

Only five banks in the world made the World’s Most Ethical Companies list compiled by the US-based Ethisphere Institute. Two of those were Australian banks – National Australia Bank and Teachers Mutual Bank.

They were the only Australian entries on the list. There are five key categories that companies must excel in to make the list: ethics and compliance, corporate citizenship and responsibility, culture and ethics, governance and leadership, innovation and reputation.
