First home buyers are flooding into Canberra to take advantage of really affordable good homes.
Nearly 20 per cent of the Australian Capital Territory’s property market are now first home buyers according to a new report from Bankwest. The number of first home buyers in the ACT market has jumped 25 per cent in 12 months.
Bankwest’s Andrew Whitechurch said Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide are the most affordable capital cities for first home buyers. Whitechurch said Canberra process are not growing as fast as some other major markets.
