Wizard finds first home buyers ready to go

A recent Wizard Home Loan survey has found the number of Australians expecting to buy their first home in the next year has increased 6 per cent, despite a renewed fall in housing affordability. The survey has found the average household income of first home buyers was now $93,000, up over $20,000 from 12 months ago. Wizard Home Loans reveal the number of potential first home buyers has increased to 523,000 in March from 494,000 in December, with Queensland and Victoria seeing much of the increased activity.
