Would you vote to break up the big banks?

The Australian Greens party unveiled a banking policy that "would use a Royal Commission” to look at ‘breaking up the banks.’ The Greens want to separate retail banking from financial advice and investment banking.

The Greens also want to "apply a tax deductible levy of 0.20 percentage points on the asset base" on "institutions worth greater than A$100 billion.” This levy is equal to the lower bound of the RBA's estimate of the value of an implicit government guarantee on the big four banks.
