Infarmation launches tractor & machinery website
The Tractor & Machinery Association (TMA) and leading agricultural website
inFARMation.com.au have combined
to create a powerful new website for both users and suppliers of farm
machinery in Australia.
The site, at tractormachinery.com.au,
was launched at the TMA Members' Meeting in Sydney as part of InFARMation's
sponsorship of the agricultural industry group.
The new website delivers:
- Current news and views on the industry
- TMA member bulletins
- A comprehensive search facility for the contact details of machinery
and equipment suppliers.
- Interactive facilities such as the popular Rural Diary, giving an
online listing of agricultural events throughout the year.
- Information on the various TMA publications. These include the Tractor
& Machinery Spec Check and OHS Guidelines can be ordered through the
- Links to other uselful websites in the industry
“We are delighted with our new TMA website,” said Executive Director,
Vin Delahunty. “We believe it signals the beginning of many new opportunities
for the TMA and inFARMation in effectively delivering valuable information
to the TMA Members and Australian farmers. We also believe it will be
valuable in building awareness of the TMA, its members and the products
and services they offer, while helping us to manage industry issues more
According to Charles McElhone, Manager of inFARMation, forming this relationship
with the TMA has been a natural progression, “Over a number of years of
association between inFARMation, TMA and its members, the synergies between
our organisations have become clear. The Australian agricultural market
has much to gain by having this facility delivering up to date and relevant
content to help facilitate their agribusiness decisions.”
