What is the InfoChoice Life Comparison Service?
The service is a fast and easy way to compare life insurance policies. Enter some basic details about yourself to receive a preliminary quote for a range of different policies. We’ll also let you know some of each policies’ key features to provide you with easy reference and guide. And if you so choose, you may call a life insurance consultant to answer any questions that you may have and to confirm your quote.
What is a preliminary quote?
A preliminary quote is an estimate of what most people of your age, gender and smoking habit would pay as a monthly life insurance premium. This is provided to you for illustration purpose only. To be able to compare so many policies we’ve had to make some assumptions which will be verified if you decide to confirm your quote. For example, we have assumed that your occupation is a relatively low risk one.
What do the terms in the life insurance quote mean?
Cover Indexation
The value of your life insurance cover can keep pace with inflation. Usually increases are the greater of the Consumer Price Index or a predetermined minimum. Check the PDS for policy terms and conditions.
Default Medicals Needed
An insurer may ask for a medical exam and/or blood test to help decide if your application is accepted. Default medicals for your situation are shown; however, an insurer may determine to vary this given your specific circumstances. Check the PDS for policy terms and conditions.
Advance Funeral Benefit
An advance on the payment of a death benefit to help with the immediate costs of a funeral. Check the PDS for policy terms and conditions.
Financial Advice Benefit
An allowance to seek professional financial advice on how best to invest an insurance payout. Check the PDS for policy terms and conditions.
