Phonechoice comes to the rescue of mobile phone owners
Mobile phone owners can soon recover their lost or stolen phones with the addition of an exciting new service on Australia’s leading phone comparison website, PhoneChoice.com.au.
The “Find A Phone” service is a central registry of all lost or stolen phones in Australia, where PhoneChoice users who are about to buy or sell a second hand mobile phone, can check on the net to see if the phone is lost or stolen.
This comprehensive service is another exciting addition to the PhoneChoice web site, which empowers its users to choose and compare the best call plans and phone deals in Australia.
The Find A Phone service on Phonechoice is an initiative of the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association and enjoys the participation of all mobile phone carriers in Australia.
PhoneChoice’s manager, Ms Lisa Pennell, said “The Find a Phone service is yet another step in PhoneChoice becoming the complete one-stop service for our users, who can be taken care of throughout the entire experience of owning a mobile phone”
PhoneChoice.com.au contains independent information from Australia’s major service providers, with call plans updated daily – providing a comprehensive, unbiased choice for consumers. The information is also used by the Australian Consumer’s Association as a basis for their mobile phone research. The PhoneChoice content is also distributed through various portals including Ozemail, SheSaid, BRW and WinNet.
Mr Peter Russell, executive director of the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association, said “PhoneChoice is the premier phone comparison web site in Australia, and will provide extensive distribution of our net registry, as well as a great all-round service to the more than 7 million mobile phone users in city and regional areas”.
