Has your intro savings account rate just expired?

Savings accounts often feature a bonus rate and a base rate. The higher bonus rate is paid for an introductory period, usually three or four months. Reverting to the base rate at the end of the intro period can mean a big cut in interest earned. This is the time to look around and consider switching to a new savings account. Some savers move their money regularly to take advantage of high bonus rates.
