Macquarie Bank behind schedule on asset sales

Macquarie Bank reduced its target for floating assets out of its balance sheet for a second time this year. Macquarie said in February it planned to offload $1.6 billion of assets by the end of September, but the bank halved that target in July at the bank's annual general meeting. Yesterday, Macquarie said it sold $150 million of that $800 million in assets since the investment bank's March year end.
